Take your site engineering experience to the next level with a major mixed-use development in Malta’s capital.
Here you’ll gain exposure to high-quality architectural and engineering processes while bridging design and execution in a central position. Working closely with the Lead Engineer and project team, you’ll oversee day-to-day construction activities, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications and contract requirements.
Enjoy the Mediterranean lifestyle while developing your skills on a technically engaging project that includes Malta’s first airport hotel. This 12–18 month contract will keep you hands-on with site supervision, inspection and construction coordination. And with a dynamic and collaborative environment, you’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team, contributing to high standards of quality and precision.
What you’ll do
Represent the Lead Consultant on site, monitoring and inspecting works to ensure they meet approved structural and architectural documentation. You’ll identify discrepancies and issue site instructions in coordination with the Lead Engineer and design team.
Attend and organise site meetings, maintaining accurate project records and liaising with contractors, subcontractors and other consultants to keep the project running smoothly. You’ll also assist in reviewing shop drawings, method statements and material submissions from a site perspective.
What you’ll need
A degree in Structural Engineering and a solid understanding of structural principles and construction methodologies.
At least 5 years of experience in site supervision, inspection or construction coordination on reinforced concrete frame buildings.
Confidence in reading and interpreting structural and architectural drawings, along with familiarity with the Eurocode suite and construction standards.
Fluent English
EU passport / eligibility to work in Malta
