Our client is a well-established building and civil engineering contractor delivering a diverse portfolio of projects across Gibraltar. With a strong order book and a reputation for delivering quality schemes, they're looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor who can keep projects commercially healthy, challenge the right things, and occasionally explain to operational teams why "just one small change" is never actually one small change.

A varied workload covering both building and civil engineering projects
Genuine autonomy and the opportunity to influence commercial decisions
Clear progression opportunities within a growing and successful contractor
The chance to live and work in Gibraltar (or in Andalusia, if you hold an EU passport), with over 300 days of sunshine a year

What you’ll be doing:
Managing the commercial performance of construction and civil engineering projects from procurement through to final account

Managing client valuations, applications for payment, variations and change control
Identifying and mitigating commercial risks whilst maximising project profitability

What you'll need:
Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a building, civil engineering or main contracting environment
Strong knowledge of cost management, valuations, variations and final accounts
A good understanding of standard forms of construction contract
Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills
Right to live and work in Gibraltar

If you're an ambitious Quantity Surveyor looking for your next challenge in Gibraltar, we'd love to hear from you - please send your CV to hello@talentman.uk
Note: we can only consider applications from EU or UK citizens who do not require a visa/permit to work in Gibraltar.
