£40-60k (depending on experience) | full-time permanent
A Gibraltar-based civil engineering and building main contractor looking for a H&S Manager with a real say over how projects run, not just paperwork to sign off.

Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of site H&S policies, procedures and standards.
Provide practical H&S advice and support to project and site management teams.
Carry out regular site inspections, audits and risk assessments, identifying and addressing potential hazards.
Investigate incidents, near misses and unsafe practices, implementing appropriate corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with relevant Gibraltar legislation, regulations and industry standards.
Deliver H&S briefings, inductions and training to employees and subcontractors.
Monitor H&S performance and maintain accurate records, reports and documentation.
Proven experience as a Health & Safety Manager within construction or civil engineering
NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent H&S qualification; higher-level qualification would be advantageous
Strong knowledge of construction H&S legislation, risk assessment and safe systems of work
Practical, proactive approach with the ability to work effectively with site teams, contractors and senior management
Right to live and work in Gibraltar
