Structural Engineer wanted in Malta!

An award-winning architectural studio specialising in sustainable heritage are currently looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on structural engineer to join their team in Valletta, Malta’s beautiful capital. 

If you're a team player with a solid understanding of structural engineering and a passion for getting involved in all stages of design – from concept to construction –, this could be the perfect fit for you. You'll work on a variety of projects, collaborating with other professionals and handling different levels of complexity.

What you'll be doing:

• Taking projects from initial concept through to final design, tender documents, and construction;

• Producing structural assessments, calculations, detailed designs, and technical drawings;

• Preparing tender packages, including specifications and bills of quantities;

• Collaborating closely with the Design Director and other team members;

What you can expect:

• Starting salary of EUR 30k-45k per annum (gross), depending on experience

What we’re looking for:

• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering 

• Familiarity with Eurocode standards

• Structural building design experience, ideally with a variety of materials (timber, masonry, steel, RC)

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural analysis software (ideally Tekla)

• Knowledge of Revit would be beneficial

• Fluency in English (spoken and written); knowledge of Maltese would be an asset

• A self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic

You must also have unrestricted right to work in Malta / ideally EU citizenship.
