Nie ma to jak w domu.
There is no place like home… And you know that too well.
If you’re an Electrical Building Services Design Engineer with experience gained in the UK or Ireland, who's thinking about returning to Poland or has already made the move within the last few years - this is a unique opportunity for you.
Our client is a UK building services consultancy who are looking to appoint a Senior Electrical Design Engineer in their well-established office in Wroclaw.
Join a dynamic team of enthusiastic and seasoned mechanical, electrical, and low-carbon engineers who share a deep passion for transforming buildings in a way that benefits our planet. Their friendly and collaborative team is on a mission to revolutionize the building services industry through innovative design with sustainability at its core.
What's in it for you?
✅ You will join a company with a forward-looking succession plan that provides opportunities to develop and progress through the business without barriers;
✅ You will work on a variety of technically challenging and interesting UK projects across varied sectors (including healthcare, education, residential, commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical);
✅ You will receive a highly competitive salary (PLN 15-20k per month gross, depending on experience) and private medical insurance, alongside other perks.
Your main responsibilities in this Senior Electrical Design Engineer role will be:
Act as Project Leader on selected projects
Raise/promote the level of technical excellence relating to electrical engineering within the office/team
Help generate repeat business through customer care of existing clients
Be client-facing and involved in all stages of the projects from inception to completion
Produce drawings and specifications
Key skills and experience we’d like you to have are:
A degree or HNC/HND in electrical or building services engineering
Minimum of 5 years experience of electrical building services design
Proficiency in using Relux/Dialux, Amtech and Revit MEP
Knowledge of British and European Standards, Building Regulations etc.
Fluency in English and Polish
And a few things that would be highly desirable:
Professional membership / UK chartered status (CIBSE or IET)
A good understanding of HV/LV systems
An understanding and specification of incorporating various renewable technologies
Working knowledge of BREEAM
The role would require you to relocate to Wroclaw within a reasonable timeframe (if you're currently based in the UK or Ireland); however initially you could start working at one of the firm’s UK offices for a period of 3-6 months if that suits you better.
Sounds good?
