Established in 2005, the company provides comprehensive mechanical & electrical design and project management services and has an expert team of 15 with an enviable portfolio - including commercial, residential, industrial, infrastructure, government, transportation, education, healthcare, leisure and sports projects.
Their order book remains very strong and they are looking to recruit an MEP Design Coordinator, who will ensure accurate, code-compliant and well-coordinated MEP designs across disciplines and project stages.
Your key duties will include:
Coordinate MEP design activities among mechanical, electrical, plumbing, architectural, and structural teams.
Review design drawings, specifications, and BIM/Revit models for accuracy and completeness.
Organize and lead design coordination meetings with consultants, clients, and contractors.
Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
Review shop drawings, technical submittals, and material specifications.
Coordinate value engineering and design optimization to improve cost and constructability.
Monitor design schedules and ensure timely delivery of design packages.
Support the preparation of tender documents and respond to technical queries.
Assist during construction by resolving design-related issues and coordinating design revisions.
Ensure that MEP designs and installations align with the latest industry standards and best practices.
Establish a culture of continuous improvement within the MEP engineering team.
Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and implement improvements for future projects.
You can be successful if you have:
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role (BIM Coordinator or BIM Technician with an MEP focus)
Relevant technical / engineering qualification
Excellent Revit and BIM knowledge
Fluency in English
If you also speak Spanish that would be a great advantage
You must have either an EU or British passport that allows you to work and live in Gibraltar.
