Gibraltar’s leading building services consultancy are currently looking for an Assistant Electrical Design Engineer to join their team - could this be your new role??
The company has been around for over 20 years and become the largest building services consultants in the Gibraltar area, highly experienced in working in conjunction with local architects and other consultants to British and internationally recognised standards.

What you’ll be doing:
Assist in the design and development of electrical systems for our projects, including lighting, power, and fire alarm systems
Use Amtech for electrical calculations and circuit design
Use industry standard design software for lighting and emergency lighting calculations
Model and coordinate electrical services in Revit, ensuring clash detection and integration with other disciplines
Prepare technical drawings, schematics, and documentation under the guidance of the senior engineer
Conduct site visits, surveys, and assist in inspections when required
Collaborate closely with internal MEP teams and external consultants
What you’ll need:
Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Experience using Amtech for electrical design and calculations is essential
Proficiency in Revit and familiarity with BIM workflows
Knowledge of residential electrical systems and building regulations
Fluency in English; if you also speak Spanish that would be awesome
Right to work in Gibraltar (UK or EU citizenship)
Desirable:
Familiarity with UK and Gibraltar building codes and standards
Prior experience in a consultancy environment
